Assessment

Assessment

For children and adolescents aged 8 to 18, we use a variety of well established questionnaires and assessment tools to evaluate skills and traits such as cognitive abilities, social emotional development, learning preferences, and personality.

The Social and Emotional Skills category is used to assess a child’s or adolescent’s ability to understand and manage emotions, build healthy relationships, show empathy, make responsible decisions, and navigate social environments effectively.

These assessments help educators and parents:

  • Identify strengths and areas for growth in emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Support mental health and emotional well being
  • Develop targeted interventions to improve peer relationships and classroom behavior
  • Foster resilience, empathy, and self awareness
  • Monitor progress in programs focused on social emotional learning (SEL)

The Personality and Self Perception category is used to understand how children and adolescents view themselves and how their personality traits influence behavior, motivation, learning, and relationships.

These assessments help educators and parents to:

  • Gain insight into a child’s temperament, attitudes, and behavioral tendencies
  • Identify traits such as introversion vs. extroversion, emotional stability, openness, and conscientiousness
  • Understand self esteem, self concept, and confidence levels
  • Support personalized learning and mentorship approaches
  • Guide social-emotional development and coping strategies
  • Inform career and academic planning by understanding intrinsic motivations and preferences

The Learning Styles and Preferences category is used to identify how children and adolescents best receive, process, and retain information. These tools help determine whether a learner prefers visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or reading/writing based approaches or a combination of these.

These assessments are used to:

  • Personalize teaching methods to match a student’s preferred learning style
  • Increase engagement and motivation in the classroom
  • Improve academic performance by aligning instruction with how a student learns best
  • Support the development of independent learning strategies
  • Foster self awareness in learners about how they study and absorb information most effectively

The Executive Function and Attention category is used to assess a child’s or adolescent’s ability to plan, organize, focus, remember instructions, manage time, and regulate impulses skills that are critical for academic success and daily functioning.

These assessments are used to:

  • Identify difficulties related to attention, working memory, impulse control, and task management
  • Support early detection of conditions like ADHD or other attention-related challenges
  • Guide interventions to improve focus, organization, and self regulation
  • Help educators tailor classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Empower students with strategies to manage tasks, stay on schedule, and improve goal-directed behavior

The Career Interests and University Major Selection category is used to help adolescents explore their interests, strengths, and preferences to make informed decisions about future academic paths and career options.

These assessments are used to:

  • Identify fields of study or career paths that align with a student’s personality, values, and skills
  • Support self awareness and goal setting for long term academic and professional planning
  • Guide conversations between students and parents about suitable university majors
  • Reduce uncertainty and anxiety about the future by providing clear direction
  • Assist in developing individualized education or career development plans
